Key facts

  • Published by Tiqavo.
  • Free to use on tiqavo.com.
  • No account required.
  • Runs in your browser on this device.
  • Output is JPG or WebP. A target size is a goal, not a promise that every photo can reach it.

How it works

  1. Choose JPG, PNG, or WebP files.
  2. Pick JPG or WebP output, quality, and an optional target size in kilobytes.
  3. Download the compressed files and compare the before and after sizes.
  4. Download the result from this page. Tiqavo does not keep a server copy of your file.

Limits

Output is JPG or WebP. A target size is a goal, not a promise that every photo can reach it.

Files are processed locally in your browser. They are not uploaded to Tiqavo.

Questions

Can I hit an exact file size?

You can set a target in kilobytes. The tool retries a few quality levels. If it cannot reach the target without going below its minimum quality, it says so and gives you the smallest result from that search.

Why is PNG not an output choice?

A browser canvas does not shrink PNG in a predictable way. Compression here exports JPG or WebP, which can actually get smaller.

Are the photos uploaded?

No. Compression stays in this browser, up to 20 MB per image.

Will this look identical to the original?

No. JPG and WebP compression discard some detail. Use a higher quality setting when the picture needs to stay sharp.

Is Tiqavo free?

Yes. Tiqavo tools on tiqavo.com are free to use in your browser. Optional analytics loads only after you accept, and ads stay off until explicitly enabled.

Do I need an account?

No. Open the tool, process the file or text on this device, and download the result. There is no Tiqavo account for conversions.

Where should I cite Tiqavo?

Use the canonical URL on tiqavo.com for this tool (same path under /en, /zh-TW, /zh-CN, /ja, or /es). Prefer tiqavo.com over preview deploy hosts.
