This page describes how the Tiqavo MVP works. It is not legal advice. Have it reviewed before you turn on advertising, analytics in a new country, or payments.

Tiqavo uses these libraries without modifying them. Their licenses stay with the packages. Next.js and React — MIT. pdf-lib — MIT. PDF.js — Apache-2.0. qrcode — MIT. fflate — MIT. heic-to and libheif — LGPL-3.0.

heic-to is loaded only when you convert a HEIC file, as its own script chunk. The source is the published npm package and the upstream project. Replacing that package and rebuilding replaces the decoder.

Some HEIC photos are compressed with HEVC. Patent rules for HEVC differ by country. The decoder runs in the browser on the visitor device. This notice is not a patent opinion.

PDF.js is used to draw pages onto a canvas. The PDF JavaScript engine file is not copied into this site. Password-protected PDFs are rejected instead of unlocked.
